Meet The Captain
Captain Sean is a husband, father, SEATOW captain, seasoned destination angler, and former surf rescue technician with a passion for ecology and conservation. Originally from Washington DC, he moved to Savannah from Central America in 2022. Captain Sean grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay watershed and Mid-Atlantic Beaches but the majority of his applicable experience comes from fishing the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef from Belize. After safety, Sean's highest priority is that our clients learn something new. He combines his extensive experience as an angler, camp counselor, and open water lifeguard with his passion for marine ecosystems to provide educational experiences from learning about Savannah's wetlands to learning new fishing techniques. He is proficient at fly and spin fishing. Following safety and education, Captain Sean's next priority is that our clients have fun on the water!
Our Boat
The Sguaba Tuinne is an authentic 2025 22' foot IMEMSA Panga with a 70hp Yamaha outboard, 24V 60" trolling motor, bimini top, and a fully integrated Humminbird one-boat system. Pangas are purpose-designed hulls by Yamaha & World Bank that are made and distributed by Yamaha Mexico to successfully dominate the Central American commercial marine markets since the 1970s.
The Squaba Tuinne brings that heritage to Savannah by drafting only 8" inches of water and taking 6' foot seas (that's what she’s built for, we do not run during or in anticipation of small craft advisories). This versatility allows our clients access to anywhere between the shallow creeks and artificial reefs.
Expectations
All tour options are $75/hour for up to 6 passengers (4 recommended for fishing).
No fees for additional guests. Waters included. Meals upon request. Bring reef safe sunscreen, bug spray, & sunglasses.
We depart from Isle of Hope Marine at 50 W Bluff Drive Savannah, GA 31406. Parking is free and the office (9am-5pm) has non-waters, snacks, and ice creams available for purchase.
Pangas are narrow vessels designed for efficiency so creature comforts like back rests and extra space are given up to reduce operating costs. If you're not opposed to Caribbean style boating, this is the boat for you!
